Temporary closure due to the Coronavirus

The Resuscitation Group is a Washington State licensed post-secondary technical school and has been ordered to cancel all training programs immediately, until at least April 24, 2020.

Governor Inslee has directed all schools within Washington State to cease in-person classes as of March 17, 2020 through at least April 24, 2020.  This includes all public and private institutions that provide any type of career and technical training as well as degree granting institutions.

We understand and share your concern that this order will place patients at potential risk due to medical professionals not having the recurrent training they need to perform critical resuscitation activities under the new science guidelines of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation and the American Heart Association.  We also understand than empathize with your concerns about not having a current certification card for various specialty courses such as Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advance Practice Refresher, and many others.

Please know that The Resuscitation Group is prepared to work with all medical professionals as to their recertification requirements, extended entry, and other mechanisms; as well as, increasing our number and times of classes after April 24th, if the Governor’s Office allows us to reopen at that time.

In the meantime, if The Resuscitation Group can assist your organization with consultation or operational support from our many highly trained critical care and emergency planning staff, please do not hesitate to contact us.

If you were previously scheduled to attend a class that will now be postponed, please do not sign up for the new classes but contact us by email ([hidden email]) with preferred new dates for your class(es).
