Approved for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.

The Resuscitation Group is pleased to announce our upcoming CME activity coming this Spring, 2020 in the heart of the Pacific Northwest - Portland, Oregon.

The Current Concepts in Resuscitation seminar incorporates the current International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) Education and Science Recommendations, The IHCA AHA Consensus Recommendations, and The Emergency Cardiovascular Care Update objectives; while blending in the objectives required for the unique environment and challenges of the resuscitation environments, with additional objectives incorporated to meet the highest level of clinical expectation under the current United States CMS guidelines.

Local and international speakers will present this CME program teaching the resuscitation care skills needed to manage the acutely decompensating patient in the hospital, critical care, emergency department, outpatient clinic, and prehospital environment.

Specifically designed for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, emergency and critical care nurses, and paramedics involved in potential or real resuscitation environments. This unique course gives the participant a structure and process to confidently care for the critically ill patient. Experienced faculty use a blend of interactive case-based lectures, academic lectures, and group simulation to model the philosophies of resuscitation, and clarify lifesaving high risk, low frequency skills.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Washington State Medical Association and The Resuscitation Group. The WSMA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The WSMA designates this live activity for a maximum of 16 AMA PRA  Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This activity meets the criteria for up to 16 hour(s) of Category I CME credit to satisfy the relicensure requirements of the Washington State Medical Quality Assurance Commission.
